Apple has been hit by a new patent lawsuit from Dynamic Data Technologies, with the suit alleging Apple's products and services have infringed on 11 patents relating to video streaming, processing and optimization. Filed on Monday at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division and found by AppleInsider, the suit from Dynamic Data accuses Apple of infringing on 11 specific patents the company controls. BrightEdge and Searchmetrics have settled their patent infringement lawsuit after four years in court and a huge amount of undisclosed financial investments.On Monday the two companies said they dismissed all legal claims between them as a result of a settlement, which resolves legal claims brought between BrightEdge and Searchmetrics concerning the misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, trade libel and patent infringement -- cases brought before the Superior Court of California and the U.S. Northern District Court of California.It became effective on July 9, 2018.
